Calardis Soleil is an interspecific hybrid containing genes of Vitis amurensis, Vitis riparia, Vitis vinifera, and Vitis rotundifolia. The plant forms small bunches with small berries.

The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew, downy mildew, and black rot, and due to the loose structure of the bunch, it shows resistance to grey mold. The berries are protected from sunburn, and good winter hardiness allows the variety to be grown in cool climates.

An early ripening variety used for the production of white wines with pronounced acidity. The bouquet is dominated by fruity notes of mirabelle, apricot, pineapple, apple, and lime.
