The variety has a medium ripening period. Bunches are of medium or medium-large size, often winged, ranging from medium-dense to loose. Berries are medium-sized, elliptical or oval in shape, covered with a waxy bloom, with dark blue or black skin.
The plant has high vigor. Cultivation practices involve short pruning and the use of low training systems. The variety shows tolerance to heat and drought.
The grapes are used to create structured wines with an intense cherry-red color, balanced acidity, and an alcohol content of 11.5 to 13%.
