The variety has medium vine vigor. Young shoots have a pubescent tip, and the first leaves can acquire a bronze tint. The mature leaf is medium-sized, entire or slightly lobed, with light pubescence on the underside.

Clusters are medium-sized, cylindro-conical in shape, and medium-dense. Berries are small, round, black in color, and covered with thick skin with a pronounced waxy bloom.

A wine variety intended for the production of Mediterranean-style red wines. The wines are distinguished by their intensity, full body, good structure, and high tannin content, which provides them with aging potential, including in barrique barrels. The aroma is characterized by berry and smoky notes.
