The variety is indigenous to the Pyrenees foothills and is considered rare. The plant has strong growth vigor. A specific feature of the variety is the functionally female flower type, which means it is not self-fertile and requires pollinator varieties, and it is also prone to ovary drop.

Bunches are small, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical, and very loose, which ensures low susceptibility to grey mold. Berries are small, slightly oval, white in color, and covered with a bloom of medium density. The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group.

Used exclusively in winemaking for the production of dry white wines, often in blends with other varieties. The wines are characterized by good acidity and spicy aromatic tones, while being prone to oxidation.
