The variety has bisexual flowers and belongs to the early-ripening group. Leaves are rounded, deeply dissected, five- or seven-lobed, with light tomentose pubescence on the underside. Clusters are medium, dense, cylindro-conical in shape, and often have wings. Berries are medium, rounded, greenish-white in color, covered with a moderate waxy bloom, and can develop a tan in the sun.

The variety has low resistance to frost and diseases such as downy mildew, grey mold, and black spot. Early bud burst makes it vulnerable to spring frosts. Yield is above average. Wines produced from this grape are characterized by aromatics with notes of citrus and flowers, however, they are prone to oxidation and often have reduced acidity.
