Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the Bronner variety and a breeding line carrying Vitis rotundifolia genes. The plant is vigorous with semi-upright shoots. The variety has a medium ripening period, is characterized by early bud burst, and the fruitfulness of replacement buds is good.
Bunches are small to medium, cylindrical-conical, medium density, sometimes with wings. Berries are small or medium, round, dark blue with abundant waxy bloom. The variety possesses polygenic resistance: high to downy mildew (Plasmopara viticola), complete to powdery mildew (Oidium), good tolerance to grey mold (Botrytis cinerea), and moderate to black rot.
A technical variety intended for winemaking. Wines from it are distinguished by fullness, power, high color intensity, and fruit profile. It is characterized by high sugar accumulation with a balanced acidity level.
