The Coromina variety is a rare autochthonous grape originating from the Emporda region. Work with it is conducted within the framework of projects for the conservation and study of ancient pre-phylloxera varieties of Catalonia.
The grape is used primarily in winemaking to create wines that reflect the characteristics of the terroir, or as part of blends. Also noted is the variety's potential for brandy production, which requires further study.
A detailed morphological description of the plant is absent in open agronomic publications; information on the variety is limited.
