Variety description

The variety is of ancient origin and belongs to the III maturity period. Leaves are medium, five-lobed, with dense pubescence on the underside. Clusters are medium or large, often winged, dense. Berries are medium or small, elliptical in shape, greenish-yellow in color.

The plant has high growth energy and is suitable for cultivation on high stems with short pruning. The variety is relatively resistant to powdery mildew, phomopsis cane and leaf spot, and gray mold, but is sensitive to downy mildew, mites, and European grapevine moth, as well as to the effects of strong wind.

Wines from this variety are characterized by high alcohol content with low acidity and an aromatic profile with notes of citrus, green apple, and white flowers. The finished product is prone to rapid oxidation, therefore the consumption of young wines is preferred.
