The variety is a complex hybrid bred from the combination (Hunisa x Emperor) x Nocera and (Hunisa x Emperor) x Pirovano 75. In specialized registries, the variety is also mentioned under the names C15-47, Davis C15-47, Kristmas Rouz, and Qiuhong.

The variety is a table grape and matures mid-season; in California conditions, it matures in mid-September. The berries have a red color and crunchy pulp texture. When cultivating, a spur pruning system is recommended, leaving 2–3 buds on each shoot.
