The variety is a descendant of the Savagnin variety and is considered a medium-vigor plant. The vines have hermaphroditic flowers, medium rounded five-lobed leaves with cobwebby pubescence on the underside. The clusters are medium, cylindrical-conical and dense; the berries are medium-sized, golden-yellow or greenish-white in color, with a waxy bloom and firm skin.

The period from bud break to full maturity is 150–155 days with a sum of active temperatures of 3100–3200°C. The variety has good shoot maturation but is characterized by low frost resistance (down to -21°C) and sensitivity to early spring frosts. Resistance to fungal diseases such as downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold is rated as medium.
