The variety is of French origin and is cultivated on the island of Corsica. The vines are characterized by high growth vigor, a semi-erect shoot habit, and dense foliage. The flower is hermaphroditic. The bunches are large, cylindrical, with long herbaceous peduncles and varying degrees of density.

The berries are medium-sized, ranging from spherical to elliptical in shape, and acquire a white or golden-white color upon ripening. The flesh is juicy with a simple flavor. The variety is distinguished by high productivity and resistance to Botrytis.

The grapes are used primarily in blends for the production of white wines. The finished wines are characterized by pale green hues, notes of white fruits, citrus, and flowers, often having a medium alcohol level and lower acidity.
