The variety has characteristic morphological features: the tip of the young shoot is white with a high density of prostrate hairs; young leaves are also white, and later yellow, with a high density of prostrate hairs. Research on the variety is aimed at studying its potential as a "forgotten" grape suitable for modern viticulture.
The purpose of the variety is wine production, for which experimental micro-vinifications in red and rosé variants were conducted by the IFV institute. The variety is considered a promising subject for studying adaptation to climate change and potential resistance to diseases and pests.
