The variety features bushes of high vigor and good cane maturation. Bunches are characterized as large, dense, and broadly conical or cylindrical-conical in shape. Berries are medium-sized, round, dark blue in color, covered with a thick waxy bloom, and have a firm skin.
The plant is susceptible to downy mildew and powdery mildew, while possessing relative resistance to gray mold. The berries usually reach technical maturity by the end of September.
The variety is intended for the production of juices and high-quality red wines characterized by balanced acidity and structure with notes of cherry, black currant, chocolate, and spices.
