The vine is characterized by vigorous growth. The variety is well-adapted to winter cold, but is susceptible to grey mold (Botrytis cinerea), sensitive to chlorosis, and susceptible to the European grapevine moth. Morphologically, the variety is represented by small clusters and berries; leaves are rounded, dark green, entire or three-lobed.

The grape is used exclusively as a wine variety for wine production. The resulting beverages are characterized by softness, moderate acidity, and good alcohol content. The wine's aroma contains notes of stone fruits, lime, and light hints of black pepper.
