Variety description

The rootstock was obtained by crossing Vitis berlandieri and Vitis riparia. The growing season is about 180 days. The bushes are vigorous; shoots reach a length of 3–5 meters, which promotes active growth of the scion cultivars grafted onto them.

The variety possesses frost resistance: buds withstand temperature drops down to -30°C, and the root system down to -9°C. Fruit production has no nutritional value, as the variety is intended exclusively for use as a rootstock in viticulture.
