The variety is the result of the natural cross-pollination of the species Muscat blanc à petits grains and Axina de Tres Bias. It is a thermophilic plant with vigorous growth that prefers hot and dry climates, while possessing low frost resistance and sensitivity to cold during the flowering period.

The plant is susceptible to major fungal diseases, especially powdery mildew. Excessive humidity leads to berry cracking and Botrytis cinerea infection. Stable fruit-bearing requires short pruning, otherwise the variety is prone to millerandage and ovary drop.

Bunches are medium or large in size, conical in shape, loose or medium-dense. Large berries of oval or obovate shape have a greenish-yellow, and in the sun, an amber-golden color, dense juicy flesh, and a pronounced muscat aroma.
