The Muriscu variety, also known as Murescola or Excursach, belongs to the species Vitis vinifera L. It is a wine grape variety with late bud break and late fruit ripening. The vines are characterized by high fertility and a tendency to form drooping shoots.

The leaves of the variety have a pronounced luster, and the berries have a characteristic dark violet eggplant color. Currently, the variety is in the process of study and testing to evaluate the prospects of its official use in winemaking.
