The variety is a natural mutation of the Mourvèdre variety. The bunches and berries are medium-sized. The variety is currently being studied in experimental plantings for climate change adaptation and potential inclusion in official appellation specifications.
The wine grape variety has good potential for sugar accumulation while maintaining the necessary level of acidity. Wines made from it are distinguished by a complex profile with notes of yellow-fleshed fruits, and when producing rosé wines, the variety provides low color intensity, ensuring pale hues.
