The variety has perfect flowers and high vigor. The leaves are round, predominantly five-lobed, with no pubescence on the underside. Bunches are small or medium-sized, cylindrical-conical in shape, and often winged. Small, round berries have a yellow-golden color, thin to medium skin, and juicy pulp.
The variety demonstrates high yields but is sensitive to frost and fungal diseases, particularly Phomopsis and iron deficiency. It shows relative resistance to grey mold. It prefers growing on hillsides, on calcareous or volcanic soils.
Wines from this variety are distinguished by an intense muscat aroma with notes of white flowers, apricot, honey, and citrus. The acidity level is moderate, and the alcohol content varies from 10 to 13%. The variety is used to create a wide range of wines: from dry to dessert, including wines made using the passito method.
