The variety is a natural mutation of the Mourvèdre variety. Morphologically, it is practically identical to the parent variety, while differing in the skin color of the berries, which have a greenish-yellow hue. Bunches and berries are characterized by medium or large size.
It belongs to late-ripening varieties; bud burst occurs 4 days after the Chasselas variety. Resistance to diseases such as downy mildew and powdery mildew is comparable to the original red variety. One certified clone is registered under number 1380.
The variety is a wine (technical) variety. It possesses good sugar accumulation potential while maintaining the necessary level of acidity, which allows for the production of wines with an aromatic profile including notes of white flowers and yellow-fleshed fruits.
