Variety description

The vines are vigorous, with upright shoot growth and characteristic reddish leaf coloration. Clusters are medium-sized, berries are very small, with thick skin and pulp rich in red pigments.

The variety possesses good frost resistance and high resistance to gray mold, with moderate resistance to downy mildew. There is a noted susceptibility to powdery mildew and a predisposition to stem necrosis. The yield of the variety is medium; it requires sunny sites for cultivation.

Wines from Cabernet Mitos are characterized by an intense dark ruby color and pronounced astringency. Due to its full-bodied character, the variety is suitable for aging in oak barrels and is often used to enhance the color of other wines.
