Variety description

The variety is an interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing Cabernet Sauvignon and Bianca. The plant is characterized by good vigor and a semi-upright vine habit. Leaves are pentagonal in shape; clusters are elongated, cylindrical, with a short wing, compact or semi-compact. Berries are small, covered with thick skin.
The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew, high tolerance to powdery mildew, and resistance to gray mold. The frost resistance of the vines is down to -22°C. High bud fertility allows for the use of various vine training and pruning systems.
The grapes accumulate a sufficient amount of sugars with balanced acidity. The red wines obtained from it possess a pronounced polyphenolic profile, tannin structure, and intense color, which makes them suitable for long-term aging.
