Variety description

The variety is a hybrid form obtained by crossing Cabernet-Sauvignon with resistant hybrids. The vines have great vigor, and the flower is perfect. The ripening period is early, occurring earlier than the Pinot Noir variety.

Clusters are cylindrical-conical in shape, medium-sized, and moderately loose. Berries are dark blue or violet in color with thick skin. The variety shows high resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold; frost hardiness ranges from -22 to -25°C.

The grapes are intended for the production of high-quality red dry wines with a tannic taste and aromas of blackcurrant, cherry, and spices. The variety is capable of accumulating from 19 to 25% sugar and requires yield control to ensure ripening quality.
