Variety description

The variety originates from the Bohotin region in Romania and is genetically related to the Tămâioasă Românească variety. It is used to create a wide range of wines, from dry to dessert, which possess a pronounced Muscat aroma and flavor notes of peach, wild berries, and rose petals.

The plant matures in late September or early October. The clusters have a cylindrical-conical shape, and the berries are characterized by a purple-pink color and juicy pulp. At full maturity, the grapes reach a sugar content of 250–270 g/l with a yield of 6–8 t/ha.
