The variety is also known by the breeding number VB 91-26-1. The plant is characterized by vigorous, upright growth. The clusters are loose, which contributes to resistance against rot; the berries are small, round, with thick skins, turning a yellow hue upon ripening.

The variety belongs to the medium or medium-late maturity group. It possesses high resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold, as well as good winter hardiness. A tendency towards uneven pollination is noted, causing the appearance of small seedless berries.

The grape possesses a high sugar accumulation capacity. It is a wine variety intended for the production of white wines, including dessert wines when harvested late. In terms of style, wines from this variety are compared to Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling.
