Variety description

The variety belongs to the mid-late ripening period and is distinguished by good adaptation to cool conditions. The vines are vigorous, the leaves are large, round, mostly five-lobed and rugose. The flower is hermaphroditic.

The clusters are medium-sized, cylindrical or conical in shape, ranging from medium-dense to loose. The berries are medium-sized, round, dark blue in color, covered with an abundant waxy bloom, and have thick skin.

The grapes are used exclusively in winemaking for the production of varietal wines and blends. The resulting wines are characterized by medium tannins, moderate to high acidity, with distinct notes of green pepper, berries, violet, tobacco, and graphite.
