The variety is a vigorous plant. The tip of the young shoot is colored pale green or almost white. The berries are small, black-blue in color, and covered with thick skin, which is why the variety is practically not used for fresh consumption.

The plant adapts to various soil types and climatic conditions. It possesses good resistance to downy mildew and gray mold; frost resistance is -19...-22°C. The growing season requires a long warm season to achieve full phenolic maturity.

Wines from this variety are characterized by a deep color, pronounced acidity, and notes of black currant or green pepper. With aging, the taste softens, acquiring aromas of tobacco, leather, cedar, and spices.
