The variety is a hybrid obtained by crossing the varieties Mourvèdre and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vine has a semi-erect growth type. The berries of the variety have a round shape, and the leaf has a pentagonal five-lobed shape.
The variety is characterized by a late ripening period and moderate, but regular yield. Regarding agrotechnics, potential sensitivity to magnesium deficiency is noted. At present, the variety has limited distribution and small planting areas.
