The variety is the result of crossing Madeleine Angevine and Muscat Précoce de Saumur. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth, a very early maturity group, and high winter hardiness, with moderate resistance to fungal diseases.
Clusters are medium or large in size, conical in shape. Berries are medium or large in size, yellow-green in color with thin skin; the flesh is juicy and crisp. The variety is often used in breeding work to develop new hybrids.
