Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is the result of crossing Schiava Grossa and Muscat of Alexandria. It is used as a table grape for fresh consumption, as well as for the production of wines and juices. The bushes are medium-vigorous; on highly fertile soils, the growth vigor may be above average.

Clusters are medium-sized to large, conical, branched, and often loose. Berries are medium to large, round or oval, violet-blue in color with a thick waxy bloom. The flesh is fleshy-juicy, with a characteristic pronounced muscat aroma.

The variety is highly productive, but with potentially unstable yields. It is sensitive to powdery mildew, grey mold, and grape leafroller. It lacks sufficient frost resistance and requires winter covering; it is prone to horizontal or semi-pendulous shoot growth.
