Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is the result of breeding aimed at eliminating the problem of flower shedding in Muscat Ottonel. The bushes have medium or vigorous growth with a horizontal shoot orientation. Mature leaves are round or wedge-shaped, three- or five-lobed, smooth, and light green in color. Young shoots and the underside of leaves are practically devoid of pubescence.

Bunches and berries are of medium size; the berries have a short oval shape. The variety belongs to the first ripening epoch, maturing approximately one week after the Chasselas variety. The variety demonstrates low sensitivity to ovary shedding, although in the full maturity phase, it may be susceptible to gray mold (Botrytis cinerea).

Wines from this grape are distinguished by richness and a light Muscat aroma with average acidity and sugar accumulation levels. One clone of the variety is officially registered under the number 1054.
