Grape variety Muscat de Adda 5 Pt is the result of clonal selection carried out at the Pietroasa research station. It is a vigorous plant for table use, which ripens simultaneously with the Muscat de Hamburg variety or a few days later, belonging to the IV ripening epoch.

The clone has a high yield, reaching 18 tons per hectare. Berries accumulate 160–170 g/l of sugars with an acidity of 4.5–4.8 g/l H₂SO₄. It differs from the base variety by more uniform coloration and ripening, crunchy flesh, and the ability to be kept on the vine for up to 30 days, and in cold storage for up to 4 months.

The variety has low resistance to frost and is primarily cultivated in the southern regions of Romania, including the Danube terraces, Dobrogea, and the Dealu-Mare wine region.
