Muscat Blanc is a mid-late to late variety with a ripening period of 140–160 days. The vines have medium vigor. The variety is characterized by low resistance to major fungal diseases and pests, as well as to low temperatures and frosts.

The berries are medium-sized, round in shape, with juicy flesh and a distinct muscat aroma. The sugar content at technical maturity is 18–25%, reaching 32% under favorable conditions.

This is a wine variety used for the production of dry, sparkling, and dessert liqueur wines. It is considered one of the oldest cultivated varieties, having originated in the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean.
