The Ozana variety is a white grape variety that belongs to the Vitis vinifera species. The primary purpose of the crop is wine production, however the variety can also be used for fresh consumption.
The origin of the variety is linked to the crossing of the varieties Жемчуг Саба and Афуз-Али. Genetic studies in 2013 confirmed this origin, refuting earlier hypotheses about a relationship with the Coarnă Neagră O.P. variety.
