The Škrlet variety (also known by the name Osukač) originates from the Moslavina and Pokuplje regions of Croatia. The name Osukač is associated with a fruit-bearing characteristic where poor fertilization and reduced yields are observed compared to other varieties.
The plant has vigorous growth and thick shoots, with harvest ripening occurring in the first half of October. Wine from this variety is characterized by moderate alcohol content, floral aromas, and notes of hay and fruit.
