The variety is a white wine grape that was once widely distributed in the Kvarner Gulf region. Currently, the plant is extremely rare, its cultivation area is minimal, and the variety itself is the subject of research in collection vineyards to maintain genetic diversity.
In agrotechnical terms, the variety is included in the official lists of grape varieties permitted for cultivation in Croatia. Detailed morphological characteristics and data on disease resistance in available materials are limited; it is known that the variety has undergone testing for viral infections as part of cultural heritage conservation.
