The variety is autochthonous to Croatia, historically associated with the Lika (Kosinj) region and the Ozalj-Vivodina wine-growing area. Currently, the variety is considered extremely rare, and its practical cultivation is virtually non-existent.
It belongs to the technical (wine) varieties with white berries. At present, the variety is included in the official national database of Croatia, and its samples are preserved in a specialized collection of grape varieties in Zagreb. Data on morphology and agrotechnical characteristics are absent in open publications.
