It has been established that as seeding rates increase, protein content tends to decrease due to intensified intraspecific competition among plants for nutrients and growing area.
Protein accumulation is stimulated by the application of nitrogen fertilizers, as well as by the use of inoculants that activate nitrogen fixation processes. Furthermore, this indicator is subject to significant fluctuations depending on soil and climatic conditions, including temperature regimes and moisture availability for crops during the growing season.
