The assessment of rice yield is based on the analysis of yield structure, which includes the number of productive tillers per square meter, the thousand-grain weight, and the number of spikelets per panicle. In domestic practice, these indicators are determined based on the results of competitive trials by converting the grain weight from test plots to standard moisture.

Rice productivity indicators vary from 20–30 ц/га under unfavorable conditions to 80–100 ц/га for intensive new-generation varieties. In the RF, the average yield typically ranges from 57–63 ц/га, while its realization depends on the irrigation regime, nitrogen fertilizer application rates, the phytosanitary state of the crops, and climatic factors during the grain-filling period.
