Anthurium plant height

The trait is measured in centimeters from the soil surface to the highest point of the plant, including the crown or apical bud. Within the framework of variety trials, Anthuriums are classified as low (less than 30 cm), medium (from 30 to 50 cm), and high (more than 50 cm). Measurements are carried out on a representative sample without forced straightening or stretching of vegetative organs.

Plant height determines the suitability of a cultivar for pot culture or cut flower production, and also influences planting density and the size of containers used.
