Under conditions of moisture deficit and elevated temperatures, Salvia officinalis exhibits a decrease in bioproductivity, with losses in green mass and essential oil potentially ranging from 12 to 26%. In agronomic practice, drought tolerance is considered not as a standardized quantitative parameter, but as the plant's overall response to environmental stress factors, which requires taking into account the soil and climatic characteristics of the site during cultivation.
