Variety description

The variety is a woody liana bred at the Kiev Botanical Garden. The fruits have smooth skin, fleshy tender flesh with a sweet-and-sour taste and pineapple aroma, and longitudinal seed chambers.

The berries ripen in mid-September. The plant is winter-hardy and withstands temperature drops down to –25 °C. The yield ranges from 10 to 25 kg of fruit from one mature bush.

Actinidia is a dioecious plant; therefore, male and female specimens must be planted for fruiting. In the first years of life, young lianas require protection from domestic animals.
