The variety was obtained by crossing seedlings A124 and RY. The plant is a female form and is intended for commercial cultivation in warm climate zones.

The fruits have grey-orange skin and an average weight of about 105 grams. Characteristic features include distinct "square" shoulders, soft pubescence that is easily removed, and a slightly indented or protruding apex.
