Variety description

The variety is a vigorous woody vine, reaching 7–8 meters in height and requiring support. The plant is dioecious and requires a pollinator. The crop prefers loose, moderately moist soils with a pH range from slightly acidic to neutral.

Fruits weighing 8–10 g have a dark purple or ruby color and dark red flesh with a sweet taste. The variety is characterized by winter hardiness down to –25 °C and resistance to fungal diseases. Harvesting begins in the first ten days of September; the fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and processing.
