The variety is a male plant and does not produce fruit. Its primary value lies in the flowering period, which begins earlier than that of the common variety Hayward, making it an effective pollinator for early-maturing Actinidia varieties.

The plant is a vigorous woody liana. The variety is heat-loving and not intended for cultivation in regions with cold climates, as it belongs to the species Actinidia deliciosa.
