Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a perennial plant that propagates by means of stolons. This feature ensures rapid ground cover and effective regeneration of damaged areas of the stand.

Cato is distinguished by good tolerance to high temperatures and summer stress conditions. The dense turf formed by the variety helps to suppress the growth of unwanted plants, such as Poa annua. The variety is adapted to frequent and low mowing characteristic of professional golf courses.
