The Oasis variety is intended for forming high-quality lawns, particularly on sites with intensive maintenance, such as golf courses. The plant possesses the ability for rapid vegetative reproduction by means of stolons, which root at the nodes, forming dense turf.
The species is distinguished by a fine leaf structure and high tolerance to low mowing (down to 5–10 mm). Detailed agronomic characteristics and data on the breeding origin of this variety are practically absent in open publications.
