Bosut bulbs are white in color, with an average weight of about 60 grams. The cloves are covered with white scales with a creamy hue. The variety is a benchmark for Serbia and matures 20 days later than the Ranko variety.
The variety is intended for commercial production and is valued for its keeping quality. In scientific studies, the variety demonstrated susceptibility to fungal diseases; in particular, it was used in the study of the pathogenicity of fungi of the genus Fusarium.
