The variety is a winter bolting garlic, bred in the Czech Republic from the original Blanin variety. The bulbs are of medium size with gray-white outer scales with purple spots, containing from 6 to 12 cloves arranged irregularly.
The plant has short, dark green leaves with a semi-erect habit. The bulbils are large, with 12 to 18 formed in the inflorescence. When sowing bulbils in the autumn, the majority of the bulb yield divides into cloves.
The variety matures by July 25. The taste qualities are characterized as noble and less pungent compared to other varieties, which allows it to be used fresh.
