The variety is a perennial loose-bunch grass reaching a height of 50–150 cm. It possesses long panicles characteristic of the species and a high regrowth capacity. The crop tolerates drought well and is valued as a high-quality grass for hay production.

As an agricultural crop, the variety demonstrates stable yields of green mass and dry matter, which in three-year trials amounted to 7.54–9.72 t/ha. As a seed crop, the variety requires harvest timing control to maintain seed germination capacity.
